What Does It Mean To Be A Father?
In ancient hebrew, the word father was represented by a pictograph of an ox and of a tent. This is the image of our logo. It translates to "the strength of the house". According to the Bible, a father wears many hats. He is to be the provider, the protector, the priest, the parent, and so much more. He is to be the one who is in charge and responsible for every aspect of the home.
The sad thing is in today's world too many men are clueless as to what it means to be a father. To make matters worse, other dad's have a clue but it is based on the culture. Culture has redefined the role of both the mother and father. This new definition does not match God's definition.
It is our goal and desire to remind and teach men how to be fathers according to God's definition. Whether you are a "dad-to-be" or a dad with grown children the lessons you learn here will be straight from God's holy word and will help you both be the father God desires you to be and to raise up christian men who will become fathers according to God's definition.
